About

[Portrait — studio executive] Philip Everhard

British entrepreneur · Based in Dubai · International business consultant

A career spanning financial services, commercial advisory, international investment, industrial enterprise and natural-resource development.

From financial markets to the real economy

Philip’s professional journey began in London’s financial markets, where he developed an understanding of investment, commercial risk, financial structuring and the requirements of businesses seeking capital.

Over the following years his activities expanded across a broad range of industries and international markets, including mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, renewable energy, property development and industrial supply chains.

This experience shaped an increasingly practical view of business development: sustainable commercial success depends not only on finance, but on the underlying quality of assets, technology, management, infrastructure and operational execution.

Today, based in Dubai, Philip’s attention is directed principally towards three connected areas: circular industrial development, responsible natural-resource activities and the supply of engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

The lead commitment

A commitment to circular industry

Many countries can address two challenges at once: reducing the environmental impact of poorly managed waste, and creating the productive industries and jobs needed for growth.

Rather than treating recycling as an isolated environmental activity, Philip’s approach integrates waste management with industrial manufacturing. Recoverable plastics, metals and other materials can be sorted, processed and converted into secondary raw materials — creating demand for engineering, maintenance, logistics, manufacturing and technical training.

Through Mica Industrial and associated environmental initiatives, he brings together equipment manufacturers, technical specialists, public institutions and commercial partners to develop these capabilities.
